Each workshop consists of three 1-hour classes. The classes cover many elements and styles of tap including:

• Rhythm TAP
• Theatre TAP
• Music and Counting
• Tricks & Slides
• Improvisation
• Tap History

Before the classes even start, your tap teacher(s) get to sit down with the TAP the MAP guys and talk about the material for the workshop. This is your chance to customize the workshop to fit YOUR students! We do have our own ideas and things we like to teach, but if your students are having trouble with anything in particular....we'll be sure to offer our help! *Faculty is subject to change*

The faculty for TAP the MAP consists of the most sought-after Tap choreographers in the country. We have been known to "team choreograph" competition routines for studios and we have had nothing but great results! Our routines have placed consistently in the top 3 in overalls and some have taken highest score of the competition. (Roxy PAC in Miami, FL) Contact us for rates.

• Duet/Trio (2-3 Dancers)
• Sm. Group (4-9 Dancers)
• Lg. Group (10-19 Dancers)
• Production (20+ Dancers)

At the end of a choreography session, TAP the MAP will leave you with a completed routine and a copy of the edited music.

After all the classes have finished, we invite all the parents into the studio for a quick showcase. The students demonstrate some of the things they learned that day, and the Tap The Map Faculty shows off a little as well! This performance is open to all students, family, and friends.

At the very end of the workshop, Tap The Map awards over $1,000 in scholarships to various dance events and competitions. Students must participate in all three classes to qualify for a scholarship. We award scholarships to the following events.
